AquaSox In December of 2003, the Everett
AquaSox signed a two-year contract extending their affiliation with the Seattle
Mariners through the 2006 season - an ideal beginning to the 2004 season in
which they celebrate their 10th anniversary as a Mariner affiliate. Since 1995
when they became a member of the Mariners family, the AquaSox have hosted
several Mariner favorites who were on medical rehabilitation assignments
including pitcher Randy Johnson and outfielder Jay Buhner. For Seattle
ballplayers like Joel Pineiro, Willie Bloomquist and Travis Blackley, Everett
was one of their first professional stops on the way to the big leagues. Minor
league baseball is just one aspect of fun that the AquaSox provide. Games are
always filled with entertaining promotions and giveaways in a family-friendly
atmosphere that's unique and affordable.
