"The Everett Area Chamber of Commerce offers multiple benefits for me and the
bank I work for, Washington Federal. One of which is the opportunity to connect
and network with other professionals/business owners through networking events
and participation in the Ambassador group. This has lead to strong professional
relationships and the growth of my business. Another benefit that I receive from
the Chamber is exposure for Washington Federal. There are multiple ways in which
to advertise and promote our bank through the Chamber; the annual directory, the
quarterly mailing, golf tournament sponsorships, hosting or sponsoring an event,
and much more. The costs make it possible to advertise on any budget."
- Kelli Wilson, Washington Federal
"Being a Chamber member has been a wonderful experience. It has allowed me to
participate in the community and give back as well. I could not have met such
wonderful people with out this Chamber. It can only benefit your business."
- Peter Harvey, Edward Jones
"Village Theatre's membership in the Everett Area Chamber of Commerce is a
valuable relationship that allows the arts and business sectors to connect. By
attending and participating in chamber events, Village Theatre's visibility is
increased in the community. Hosting a chamber event has welcomed people to the
Everett Performing Arts Center, who have never been here before, and they saw
what a beautiful and valuable facility we have. I've met some truly remarkable
people in Everett through the chamber."
- Steven Ray Liedlich, formerly with Village Theatre
"The Everett Area Chamber of Commerce is the one local organization that
represents the entire Everett business community. Whether you are a small
business owner or a large corporate firm, the Chamber strives to build a solid
economical community for your business to grow. The Chamber has given me an
array of opportunities to meet other professionals within our community, from
networking breakfasts to grand openings. My investment in the Chamber has more
than paid for itself. I cannot put a price on the friendships and business
relationships that I have built. I am proud to say that I am a member of an
organization that works hard to make the local Everett community the best place
to live and work."
- Amy Drewel, American Family Insurance
Sponsorships of key chamber events is an important tool that Community Transit
uses to reach members of the business community. It allows us to position our
brand and mission favorably with area leaders. An Everett Chamber sponsorship is
a great value.

From my experience with Kimberly-Clark, the most direct benefits received from
the Chamber of Commerce would be the outstanding work done by Patrick Pierce,
Government Affairs Manager, and the Joint Government Affairs Committee to inform
and influence the State legislature on those bills affecting large businesses.
There has been a continued focus on reigning in taxes, unemployment insurance,
workman's compensation costs, increasing the span of M&E sales tax exemptions
and insuring investments in State transportation -- just to name a few. The
Chamber has also been instrumental in putting Everett on the map for investment
in higher education. Businesses like Kimberly-Clark benefit from having young
talent available not to mention the opportunities created for general workforce
education. Access to a highly educated labor force has helped Kimberly-Clark
improve its competitiveness and retain workers. Kimberly-Clark also receives
benefit to its community image by being part of such a highly respected
organization like the Chamber. There are multiple opportunities for sponsoring
events which puts the Kimberly-Clark name prominent among local businessmen and
elected representatives. There have been a number of times over the past years
where that support and goodwill has translated into a favorable outcome.
Having worked 32 years for Kimberly-Clark, I now have an opportunity to operate
my own consulting business. Before I even landed my first client, I made it a
point to join the Chamber as a small business. I signed up for a two-year
membership right from the start because I know the benefits this Chamber creates
for local business. I enthusiastically endorse this organization whenever given
the chance.

“Everett Transit has enjoyed sponsoring events organized by the Everett Chamber
of Commerce, such as the annual Community Expo. The Everett Chamber does an
excellent job of recognizing sponsors by prominently displaying company logos
and acknowledging the sponsors in promotional materials leading up to events.
Additionally, sponsors receive top priority with regards to placement of a table
or booth at events. I have been satisfied with the communication leading up to
events, staff support during events, and follow up after events. Everett Transit
plans to continue being a sponsor in future Everett Chamber events.”
- Matt Coomes, Everett Transit
"It’s important to understand and remember that in addition to watching out for
the economic well being of its members and the community, the Everett Area
Chamber of Commerce offers business educational programs, networking contact
opportunities, direct input to Legislators on governmental affairs, proposed
laws and regulations for small as well as large businesses ranging from formal
civil and business settings to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and mix and mingle
gatherings."
